Overwhelmed?
Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer. From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of thy wings. Selah. Psalms 61:1-4
Sometimes we feel overwhelmed in life. When we try to express our thoughts and concerns to a friend, our friend doesn't always seem to understand or sense our pain. We can avoid the pit of despair by taking our troubles to God.
The Lord encourages us to unload on Him: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7.
